Privacy Policy

This page is awaiting legal review and may change before it is final.

This policy explains how EfySalon ("EfySalon", "we") handles information on this website and in the EfySalon salon management software ("the software").

This website

This website gives information about EfySalon. It has no sign-up or contact forms, does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and does not use third-party tracking. Its fonts are served from this website, so visiting it does not send requests to font providers.

Like any website, our hosting provider may record standard technical information, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

Links to Instagram take you to a service run by Meta, whose own privacy policy applies there.

When you contact us

If you message or email us, we use what you send (for example your name, salon name and contact details) to reply, to arrange a trial and to discuss EfySalon with you. We don't sell it or use it for unrelated marketing.

Information in the software

Salons using EfySalon enter information about their own business, staff and customers, such as customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, birthdays, visit history, allergies, notes and bills. The salon decides what to record and is responsible for it; we store and process it on the salon's behalf to provide the software.

Staff accounts

Each user has a login with their name, email and role. The software records when they last signed in and keeps an audit log of sensitive changes.

Messages and payments

If a salon switches on WhatsApp or SMS messages, the customer's phone number and the message are sent through the salon's messaging providers. Automatic wishes and reminders go only to customers the salon has marked as agreeing to messages. If a salon uses UPI QR payments, payment details are handled by the payment provider.

Attendance

If a salon connects a biometric attendance device, the software receives the punch times and the staff member's device ID. Biometric data such as fingerprints stays on the device.

Keeping information safe

Access to the software requires a login, and each role sees only what it needs: front desk staff and stylists are limited to their own branch, and stylists to their own work. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes.

Your choices

If you're a salon's customer and want to see, correct or remove information a salon holds about you, please contact that salon. For anything else about this policy, contact us.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
